{"id":2658,"date":"2025-10-28T15:22:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T15:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fofdp.co.uk\/?page_id=2658"},"modified":"2025-10-28T15:22:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T15:22:09","slug":"mini-wetland-scrape","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fofdp.co.uk\/index.php\/mini-wetland-scrape\/","title":{"rendered":"Mini Wetland Scrape"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After much discussion and planning we decided to try and make a new Mini Wetland scrape just off the pathway on one of the flower beds nearest the entrance from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milloforest.aberdeenshire.sch.uk\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.milloforest.aberdeenshire.sch.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mill O Forest School<\/a> into the Park. This location was picked because it is always water-logged after rain on the path and grass so the plan was to collect as much excess water as possible and draw it away. <br><br>The design of the wetland scrape in theory should collect all of the water from the path and surrounding grass, helping the plants and shrubs to flourish while allowing for better use of the pathway when wet.
