{"id":2626,"date":"2025-09-11T18:16:48","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T18:16:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fofdp.co.uk\/?p=2626"},"modified":"2025-09-12T07:29:20","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T07:29:20","slug":"park-maintenance-evening-saturday-27th-september-10am","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fofdp.co.uk\/index.php\/2025\/09\/11\/park-maintenance-evening-saturday-27th-september-10am\/","title":{"rendered":"Park Maintenance Morning : Saturday 27th September @ 10am"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are holding a Park Maintenance morning on<strong>\u00a0Saturday 27th September @ 10am<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 meeting in the Car Park at Forest Drive Park.\u00a0<strong>All friend members welcome, plus anyone else who wishes to volunteer some time to help maintain the Park.\u00a0<\/strong>We are always looking for help and you do not have to commit to joining.<br><br>If you have your own tools please take them along ie (Spade, Shears, Loppers, Hand Trowel, Gloves, Kneeling Mat). We have a limited number of tools available for use by volunteers.<br><br><strong>We plan to :-<\/strong><br><br>\u2013 Establish a new mini wetland area and plant some of our new wetland plants<br>\u2013 Tidy up the Planters<br>\u2013 Cut and strim around new Wildflower bed and plant Yellow Rattle<br>\u2013 Clear some of the overgrown areas amongst the Bulb Areas (Nearest Mill O Forest School)<br>\u2013 Pick up any rubbish, plastic and debris<br>\u2013 Cut and clear grass around the newly planted trees <br><br>Some Committee Members will also be picking up and disposing of Dog Mess if anyone spots any while working so please alert us.<br><br><strong>If anyone comes across any sharps, glass or metal please alert a Committee Member who will remove and suitably dispose of the item\/s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please confirm if you are able to attend and we will add your name to our list for Risk Assessment.&nbsp;<\/strong><br>Contact via&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:fofdp23@gmail.com\">Email&nbsp;<\/a>\/ Via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fofdp.co.uk\/index.php\/contact\/\">contact page<\/a>&nbsp;or on FB messenger<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are holding a Park Maintenance morning on\u00a0Saturday 27th September @ 10am\u00a0\u2013 meeting in the Car Park at Forest Drive Park.\u00a0All friend members welcome, plus anyone else who wishes to volunteer some time to help maintain the Park.\u00a0We are always looking for help and you do not have to commit to joining.
