Some additional work done tonight on the Wetland Area in the Park – Thanks to Bill from our Committee Team who sourced small pebbles and liner to help retain the water for the wetland plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plants that were in have been carefully lifted and will be transplanted soon after the next wet spell. I am sure you can agree it looks fantastic. A donation of some more plants were received from CuramFyvie<\/a> which are much appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be looking to add more wildflowers and wetland edge plants to attract hover flies, for example; yarrow, ox-eye, daisy, marigold, Californian poppy and cone flower.

For the butterflies we will look at wallflower, butterfly bush, knapweed, red valerian, birds-foot trefoil & Salvia \u2018hot lips\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
