Friends of Forest Drive Park AGM 2025 will be held on Friday 30th May at the Scout Hut at 7pm.
All friends and members of the public welcome, friend members should have received an email with details and copy of the agenda. Printed copies will be available on the night.
We have had another busy year and achieved quite a lot considering where we were 2 years ago. Recently, we planted new community fruit trees in partnership with Greenspace Aberdeenshire, 30 copse trees provided by The Woodland Trust and a mighty Oak tree. We held our first fundraising quiz night at the Stonehaven Scout Hut which was a great success, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Credit to Heather Stewart on our Committee who hand made all of the crotchet dolls which were enjoyed by many local children who found them in the park over the Easter holidays. We will share some further updates and proposed projects for the next 12 months.
We have been ably assisted by Stonehaven Horizon Group, Aberdeenshire Council Landscape Services team and several funding providers who we are very grateful to.
