Great to see Hamish Park upgrade is now completed – The Dunnottar Castle Unit installation was the chosen design based on community feedback from Engage Aberdeenshire survey.
Including multi sensory play elements, inclusive play area encouraging crawling, sliding, balancing, cognitive play, imagination all while being wheel chair accessible. The design also includes an accessible roundabout and swan springer.
The ground around the new play equipment has been upgraded to a durable, all weather rubber which is much safer and easier for access. See photos which show all elements.
A welcome addition to the existing Park equipment – swing area, spring jeep, trim balance trail, see-saw, multi-play area, picnic table and bench.
Hopefully enjoyed by many more generations of Children for years to come. Big thanks to Aberdeenshire Council and the build team who did an excellent job.
