Friends of Forest Drive Park warmly invite you to attend our very first AGM which is being held at the old Court House at 7pm on Wednesday 15th May. Please be assured that the existing committee is happy to continue (unless voted off by you) so your attendance will have no strings attached!
Our enthusiastic volunteers have accomplished a great deal in our inaugural year with assistance from our Area Councillors, The Stonehaven Horizon Project, Aberdeenshire Landscape Services, Stonehaven Town Partnership and several others.
It has been a busy year, ably assisted by members of the Horizon Project, Aberdeenshire Landscape Services and members of the public, we planted no fewer than 11,000 bulbs around the Park, prepared to install a dozen replacement native trees and designed welcoming noticeboards (thanks to The Men’s Shed).
We have also been investigating benches, accessible picnic tables, drainage and access solutions etc. It’s been a busy but fruitful year.
