New Wildflower Bed Planted

The new Wildflower bed has finally been populated, huge thank you to our planters and to Dave and Margaret for receiving and storing the wildflower plugs.

This would not have been possible without funding received from Nescan Hub and assistance from John & Kate Malster at Curam Fyvie who supplied the plugs, shared their planting expertise and helped advise on planting layout. Massive team effort.

Cowslip
Cuckoo Flower
Lesser Knapweed
Red Campion
Tansy
Teasel
Devil’s-bit Scabious
Meadow Buttercup
Melancholy thistle
Yellow Rattle

Bettany was also planted in bulb / tree area near entrance to Mill o Forest school, along with Devils Bit Scabious. Thanks to Greenspace Aberdeenshire for providing these. And thanks again to Aberdeenshire Council Landscape Services team who helped prepare the ground.

The wildflowers will be added to our watering rota to help give them the best chance possible.
