Some additional work done tonight on the Wetland Area in the Park – Thanks to Bill from our Committee Team who sourced small pebbles and liner to help retain the water for the wetland plants.
The plants that were in have been carefully lifted and will be transplanted soon after the next wet spell. I am sure you can agree it looks fantastic. A donation of some more plants were received from CuramFyvie which are much appreciated.

We will be looking to add more wildflowers and wetland edge plants to attract hover flies, for example; yarrow, ox-eye, daisy, marigold, Californian poppy and cone flower.
For the butterflies we will look at wallflower, butterfly bush, knapweed, red valerian, birds-foot trefoil & Salvia ‘hot lips’
