Fantastic afternoon at Forest Drive Park today and great turnout for our community picnic and BBQ. At least 150 people came along to enjoy their local Park and watch the Tug O War competition hosted by Kinneff Tug of War Club.
Many participants and spectators from as far afield as Ayrshire also enjoyed a tasty burger, refreshment and snack.
Big thanks to all who came along to show support for both events on this glorious sunny day. Very much appreciated and everyone seemed to be having fun, especially all the children who attended. Thanks to both Heather’s in our committee team who provided the games, they went down a treat 
The burgers were donated by McIntosh Donald Butcher Shop, the buns were donated by Warburtons, the condiments, cheese, onions and crisps were donated by Tesco Newtonhill.
Thanks again to our burger chefs, committee team and helpers who ensured the day went smoothly And also all participants in the Tug o War competition and organisers who kindly filled in the goal area for us while tidying up the grounds.
We made a grand total of £588 which is a fantastic amount 
very much appreciated.
